Hi Dean. Thanks so much for reading the article, plus your kind words. My articles usually draw attack from both extremes: secularists say it is too theological; evangelicals say it is too “gay.”

Today’s biblical term translated as “sexual immorality” comes from the Greek word “porneia” — which relates to “pornos.” Pornos is a masculine (versus feminine) noun, specifically meaning “a male who sells off.” Pornos is commonly interpreted in its base meaning as a “man who prostitutes himself.”

But who knows — you could be right and I could be wrong. Either way, Jesus objected to this form of sexuality.
