Jim, indeed we both faced such stigma from our profession (i.e., Air Force). It is tragic that an outstanding airman as yourself would need to voluntarily leave the professional out of a very real threat of shameful expulsion. And yep, in a future article in Prism & Pen I will discuss the wrongfulness of therapists continuing in their conversion therapy (despite its ineffectiveness).
