Laurence, thanks so much for reading my article and responding! You poured out your heart in sharing how religion has deeply harmed you. I am so sad for you (and countless other gays) who have been spiritually abused by religion. I am so sorry that you were treated this way; no doubt aspects of your trauma remain.

And I am soooo happy for you that you are now honoring yourself!!! It sounds like you now have the freedom to thrive. Good for you!
