Mark, I love how you believe that God allows for a covenant between two people, regardless of the genders. Jonathan had a covenant with David. Personally, I like the term “marriage” as it applies to the union I have with my husband. Some people prefer “life partner” or some other phrase. Regardless of the term, I believe Jesus delights whenever two people form a permanent bond of love. Thanks so much for your response!
