Thanks so much for reading and responding. It may sound creepy for Jesus to choose a man as his spouse. All I know is that Jesus chose me; I said "I am yours;" and we will be united for eternity. Some may chafe about the "marriage" analogy, but in the least I have a permanent covenant with Jesus. Hope that helps.
